Course Description

 

This is an extended workshop that will support participants to develop a student behaviour management plan. 

Part One - A behaviour management rubric
What are the Top 12 touchstones in a classroom environment that affect student behaviour that are within the control of a teacher? The session will focus on an analysis tool that will help all teachers can identify what is in their control.


Part Two - Teacher control and student choice
The presenter will outline a process for students to develop a plan to manage their own behaviour to meet the requirements of a classroom code of conduct. The presenter will demonstrate a behaviour management plan that participants can develop for their own situation.
