Course Description


We want children to learn about sustainability and how to be responsible citizens in a changing world.  We also know that children absorb messages from the media and the adult world. This session will consider the impact on young children of ideas about climate change.  It will explore how to protect chidlren from the fear that can be generated by apocalyptic discourses. It will also look at how we can involve children in positive action, and hope.
