Course Description

Hattie reports that goal setting and teacher clarity about those goals, are two significant influences on student achievement. This comprehensive program will explore the concept of goal setting and how this, along with success criteria can assist with your students growth and development. We will explore how you, as a CRT, can work with your students to create tangible short term goals and success criteria with the work that has been left for the class. In addition to this, we will explore the concept in a broader sense and how they can be used to create a rich and engaging learning environment for the students in your class. 

This course is divided into 3 modules 

Module 1: 3 hours

  • a 90 minute webinar (including a 30 minute pre-learning task)
  • a 30 minute discussion forum
  • 2 learning tasks

Module 2: 2 hours

  • a 60 minute webinar
  • a 30 minute discussion forum
  • 1 learning task

Module 3: 2 hours

  • a 60 minute lecture
  • a 30 minute discussion forum
  • 2 learning tasks

This entire Comprehensive Program is valued at 7 hours of professional development towards your teacher registration requirements and participants who complete all elements listed above will receive a Certificate of Compeltion as evidence of their work.
