Course Description

 

As a leader you will have responsibility for carrying change processes in your school. In this session, with its background in leadership as narrative, the proposition is that change management is about moving people from what they are doing now, to doing something new or different. So, at its heart change management is about people management. The session will focus on three strategies to leading change in your workplace
1. Understanding your own response to change
2. Analysing and influencing a specific change
3. Moving people through change 
The content draws on the ideas in TLN Journal Vol 26. No. 1 Leadership as Narrative.
