Course Length: 1.5 Hours

Course Description

Experienced teachers have learned over time that sustaining high quality teaching practice is based on having an effective lesson structure that supports the learning of all students. For some experienced teachers, it is so routine that they struggle to articulate what they do. In the first part of this session the presenter will critically analyse an effective lesson structure that he uses in his practice, helping experienced teachers to do the same. In the second part of the session he will explore ways that experienced teachers can support colleagues to develop lesson structures that work for them. The session will support the professionla development of experienced teachers in primary and secondary settings.
