Course Description


Nonviolent Crisis Intervention® training is a behaviour management system that teaches simple skills for assessing, managing, and responding to risky behaviour in the workplace. The program focuses on verbal de-escalation, prevention, and early intervention. This time-tested program gives you an effective framework for decision making and problem solving. It also equips you with the skills and confidence to champion a culture of Care, Welfare, Safety, and Security.  The session will give an introduction to this program and will explore how this program can inform practice within a classroom environment by sharing examples of the classroom experience implementing these strategies .
