Course Length: 11 Hours spread over the course of 5 months

 

Course Description

Questioning students is a quick way to assess student understanding and build their learning. It is a particularly useful tool for CRTs who have limited time with a class. Effective questioning technique is identified as one of the Department of Education and Training's "High Impact Teaching Strategies". This program supports CRT to refine their classroom questioning technique in line with current research and best practice. 

This course looks explicitly at the different ways a teacher might use questions to assess student understanding, build student learning and provide timely feedback. 

This program comprises of pre-reading, reflections, peer assessments and three live-online 2 hour workshops. In order to be presented with the certificate reflecting 11 hours of professional learning, participants will need to complete the entire program.

28.07.18 The last Days for participants to acknowledge completion of pre - reading.

Once you have aknowleded that you have completed the pre - reading digitally you will be emailed a link to the online room where the first session will take place.
