Course Length: 1 Hour

Course Description

Students who have exhibited extremely disruptive or concerning behaviour can be supported to reflect on and change their thought processes through a well-managed conversation. In this session the presenter will stress the importance of structuring the conversation to ensure that agreement is reached about a positive way forward. The presenter will explore ideas about when to hold a reflective conversation with a student, why these conversations can be powerful, and the top 5 things to avoid in these conversations.
