Course Description


The Management of Actual or Potential Aggression (MAPA®) training program has been designed by Crisis Prevention Institute (CPI) to enhance learners’ understanding and management of disruptive, aggressive, and/or violent behaviour and aims to ensure that learners involved in handling crisis situations, which include disruptive, challenging, or violent behaviour, can maintain the Care, Welfare, Safety, and Security of all involved. This session will give an introduction to elements from the MAPA program and explore examples of how this can be embedded into practice within the classroom environment.
